A salted caramel tea blend that you can make yourself at home? It’s possible, and delicious.

Making my own tea blends has become a hobby of mine. I drink a lot of tea, and good quality dried tea is expensive. After reading the ingredients on my favorite tea blends, I realized that a lot of it is things that I have in my kitchen like dried fruit, nuts, and spices, I tried my hand at making my own and have never looked back.

Teas that use fruit or other wet ingredients take time to make, as tea needs to be totally dried. This one, however, uses ingredients that are pretty dry already, so you can spread out the ingredients for a bit until they are dried, then transfer to a jar.
The tea itself is sweet, due to milk caramels, and has a nutty taste with a hint of chocolate. A bit of this coarse sea salt brings it all together for a drink that will satisfy your sweet tooth without overindulging. It’s a nice way to relax when you’re stressed (like after a busy holiday!) or just chill out for a bit.

Once you’ve got your tea, you can brew it just like any loose leaf tea. My favorite method is this brewer. It makes it super easy to brew a single cup, and I use mine every single day.
