I love making sweet treats that aren’t difficult and don’t leave a bunch of dishes in the sink.
Like this super easy, super tasty s’mores bark. It’s so easy that it doesn’t require much in the way of a recipe; you can’t really get it wrong.
Toasting the marshmallows is the most difficult part, and if you have a kitchen torch, it’s even easier. Otherwise, just broil until browned. Then add some crushed graham crackers and pour melted chocolate over top. The hardest part is waiting for it to harden.
For the chocolate, I strongly recommend good quality chocolate bars that are chopped rather than chips. Use the best quality chocolate you can find.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup mini marshmallows
  • 8 graham crackers crushed
  • 12 ounces dark chocolate finely chopped
  • 1 teaspoon coconut oil
  • Coarse sea salt optional

Instructions

  • First, toast the marshmallows. You can do this by putting them on a sheet pan and broiling in your oven until browned and toasty. They will burn quickly though, so don’t take your eye off them! Alternatively, a small kitchen torch will toast them as well — just put them in a glass bowl and torch.
  • Line a small baking sheet with parchment and add the torched marshmallows and broken graham crackers.
  • Put the chocolate and coconut oil in a microwave safe bowl and microwave on high heat, stirring every 20 seconds or so until smooth.
  • When melted, pour over the marshmallows and graham crackers. Sprinkle with sea salt if using.
  • Refrigerate until hard, remove from pan, and break into pieces.
  • Store leftovers in the fridge.
