Put the butter in a bowl and grate the garlic on top. Add the lemon and parsley, and a pinch of salt if your butter is not salted. Mix until well combined and spread a bit on a small piece of bread to taste test it for seasoning, but keep in mind that before baking, it will have a strong, sharp garlic flavor.
Spread the butter generously onto the bread and lay on a baking sheet. Bake for 10-12 minutes, until bread is toasty.
