Best Oven Baked Fries

Ingredients

Russet potatoes
sliced evenly into 1/4” fries
1/2
teaspoon
baking soda
2
tablespoons
avocado oil
(or olive oil)
1
tablespoon
seasoning
whatever you like
Instructions
Preheat oven to 425 degrees F.
Put the sliced potatoes in a medium pot and add the baking soda and a pinch of salt. Cover with water, bring to a boil, and cook for 5 minutes.
Drain the pot, let stand for 5 minutes.
Add the oil and seasoning to the pot and shake to coat the fries with the oil.
Transfer to baking sheet and spread the fries in a single layer, not touching, leaving out any fries that are too thick or thin.
Bake for 20 minutes, flip, and bake until browned and crisp.
Remove from oven and serve immediately.
